During Easter and the summer months we run a kids only surf camp, Monday to Friday, at 9.30-12.30.
The ages are normally 10-16, but younger kids are also welcome
if they are accompanied by a guardian, to ensure they are comfortable in the water.
Lessons are fun yet progressive in a secure environment, with experienced and qualified instructors. We use soft boards for our lessons, but as kids progress we can get them to try other boards to improve their skills.
One lesson: €20
Three days (in the one week): €55
Four days (in the one week): €70
Five days (in the one week): €85
At the end of the week the young surfers have a little comp and they can take part in the ISA's Surf Skills program (extra 10euros). These awards allow young surfers to have their skills recognised and receive a cert to gain Skills 1 and 2. Once they have completed Skills 2 they can enter our Junior Surf Academy below
Junior Surf Academy
The Junior Surf Academy is for U16's surfers who have got their own board and have mastered paddling and taking off. To enter the academy Junior surfers must complete the ISA's Surf Skill Awards. It costs 10euros to register and each surfer must complete the tasks on their Indivdual Work Book and gain their competence certs. This can be done through our regular Junior surf camps.
