Surfing and English Language Programme

In conjunction with Donegal Language Centre we offer a Surfing and English Language Programme for junior surfers from 12-17 years old. We also offer a Teenage Residential Surf Camp.

Surfing and English Language Programme

Dates 2012:
Easter programme April 1st to May 6th.
Summer programme June 3rd to September 9th.

Age: 12-17 yr olds
The all inclusive package includes: 

• Accommodation
• Three meals a day and snacks
• 5 surf sessions per week
• 15 hours of English per week
• Laundry facilities
• Evening activities including water sports, bowling, cinema, team building, and Irish sports
• Weekly Cultural Excursion
• Supervised transfers from Dublin
• A relaxed and secure environment to learn and have fun in

Surf Camps: All levels are catered for in our surfing camps. With numerous beaches and breaks on our doorstep, there is a beach to suit every level. Tuition and video analysis is with our fully qualified instructors. All equipment is provided. There are a maximum of 8 students per instructor. 

Residential Accommodation: Our residential accommodation is situated in a quiet suburb just one minute’s walk from the Atlantic coast and eight minutes from the town centre. We can comfortably sleep up to 46 and our facilities include all ensuite rooms, free Internet, comfortable sitting room and games room. There is one coordinator per 10 students.

English Classes: The English classes run for 3 hours every morning/afternoon depending on the level of the students.  Reading, writing, oral and listening are covered each day in the classes by fully qualified teachers.  The classes are taught in a fun and interactive manner to ensure that the students are learning through interesting and relevant topics.  On average there are 10 students per class with a maximum of 14. 

A day at the camp: 
8.00-8.30 am Breakfast
9.15 – 12.30 am English lessons
10 – 1.00 pm Surf lesson
1 – 2.00 pm Lunch
2.15 – 5.00 pm Evening Activity
5.15 pm Snack
7.00 pm Dinner
8.00 pm Evening activity
10.30 pm Bed time.

1 week = €770 + transfer
2 weeks = €1450 + transfer
3weeks = € 2090 + transfer 
Transfers from Dublin airport are Sunday 10 – 6.00 pm and cost €110 return (€55 each way).

Teenage Surf Camps.

2012 Dates: 
Summer: June 3rd – June 24th, August 19^th – September 9th

Age: 12-17 yr olds

Our all inclusive packages includes:
•Accommodation
•24 hour supervision
•Three meals a day and snacks
•8 surf sessions
•Laundry facilities
•Evening activities including water sports, bowling, cinema, team building, and Irish sports
•Collection and transfer from local train station (Sligo) or bus Ballyshannon.

 Level: From total beginners to intermediate.

Arrivals: 12 pm Monday
Departure: 1 pm Friday

Package: Monday to Friday includes accommodation, full board, 14 hours of surfing, 5 afternoon activities per week, 3 evening activities per week and local collection. €390
