Yoga & Surf weekends
Our surf yoga sessions were really popular in 2011 and the feedback has been very positive so far and everyone has enjoyed the weekends. We are delighted to team up with Aisling Harris again for 2012 – and remember the weekends are open to men and women. Suitable for beginner, improver and intermediate surfers.
Our yoga and surfing weekends give you the chance to train with a Yoga Sports Coach Specialist and our highly qualified surf instructors. The weekend includes 2 surf lessons (beginner and improver lessons available) and 2 surf coaching sessions. Both surf and yoga sessions are limited to 8 participants max, so you are guaranteed an optimal coaching session. We are running the courses for both beginner surfers and improver surfers. No previous experience of Yoga or Surfing is required. Suitable for beginner, improver and intermediate surfers.
A weekend with 2 surf sessions and 2 sport yoga sessions costs €80 with 2 beginner lessons, or €100 with 2 improver lessons .
We have accommodation available in Bundoran Surf Lodge from €20pps per night B&B. The weekend kicks off at 10am on Saturday with a meet and greet, followed by yoga workshop at 10.30am and surfing in the afternoon. Should finish up about 4pm.

May 19th and 20th – guest yoga instructor Anne Marie Fitzgerald from Bundoran. Suitable for beginner and improver surfers.
June 16 and 17th (for beginner and improver surfers)
July 21st and 22nd (for beginner and improver surfers)
August 25th and 26th (for beginner and improver surfers)

Your yoga sports coach for the weekend is Aisling Harris. Aisling is a Yoga Sport Specialist/Coach working within Yoga Sports Science. Aisling is graduating in May 2011 and will be one of only 23 fully qualified and registered in the U.K. and Ireland. (The only YSS coach in Ireland at present).
Aisling has been actively researching the benefits of yoga within surfing and has recently completed successful research papers on the topic. Yoga Sport Science enables a surfer to integrate training techniques – sport specific yoga techniques with traditional modern training, sports science, plymetrics and periodization training.
