There is always plenty of nightlife in Bundoran all year round. There are several festivals taking place around the county during the year.
Pubs and Clubs
The Ould Bridge Bar is popular with locals and visitors. Traditional music every Thursday all year round, and on Tuesdays during the summer. DJ's on Saturday night during summer. Great bar food menu.
Brennan's Bar, run by sisters Nan and Trisha, is a haven of tranquility and old world charm with what many people consider to be the best pint of Guinness in town.
Bootleggers bar and Fusion nightclub. Regular live music in the bar and late night club next door. Popular with younger crowd all night and older crowd after regualr bars have closed.
Jumpin Jacks. Popular night club downstairs in the Holyrood Hotel.
Chasin Bull bar. Regular live music venue and big screen for football matches.
Kicking Donkey. Popular pub with plenty of live entertainment during the summer.
Plenty of other options in Bundoran. Just walk up the main street and take your pick.
There are other options in Ballyshannon. Dicey Rileys bar is a great bar with attached live music venue that hosts regular big names.
Festivals
Several festivals also happeining in the area. Ocean Festival in Bundoran at the end of September with music, drama, cinema and surfing.
Ballyshannon Traditional music festival. August bank holiday weekend. Has been running for thirty years.
Errigal arts festival during the summer with international acts. Huge success the past few years, this festival is now rivalling Galway as the country's premier arts fesival. Middle of July for 2 weeks.
The Bluestack festival is the south of the conty's version of the Errigal festival. Plenty of events for all the family at diverse locations.
The Rory Gallagher festival in Ballyshannon has been a huge success the last few years, with international tribute bands and fans gathering to pay homage to the Ballyshannon born guitar legend. June bank holiday weekend.
